Correct! Let's Go!

Pac-Man, developed by Namco and released in 1980, is one of the most recognizable and enduring arcade games in history. Players control Pac-Man, a yellow circle-like character, as he navigates a maze filled with dots, while being chased by four colorful ghosts. The goal is to eat all the dots in the maze while avoiding the ghosts. Eating large flashing dots called power pellets allows Pac-Man to temporarily turn the tables and eat the ghosts.

Pac-Man became a global cultural phenomenon, spawning numerous sequels, merchandise, and even a cartoon series. It’s widely regarded as a landmark in gaming history and is credited with helping to establish the arcade game industry in the 1980s. The game’s simplicity and appeal to all ages have contributed to its lasting legacy. Even today, Pac-Man is a symbol of retro gaming and continues to appear in modern titles and media.
